By Ravelgrane Unlike the canned humor of shows like Drew Carey, this program is full of jokes that fall flat, desperate boredom, irony and angst. And it is fantastic. It is an attempt to protray the hell we all have to endure in our daily jobs. Though I feel at times it tries to be too much like the British original, it still comes off as a hilarious voyeuristic adventure in the land of corporate limbo. Steve Carrell is wonderful as the cloying and clueless boss.

In season one the plot lines are more about Scott, Shrute and Halpert. Season two includes more of the supporting cast. This show is hilariouis with funny writing and a new way of filming that isnt seen very often. The Office is definately a show that will please any viewer.

I highly recommend the episodes 'Diversity Day' and 'Basketball'.
